【Oriental Watch Company x Tetra Neon Exchange】Neon Sign Preservation

Like stars lighting up the dark night sky, millions of neon lights illuminate the streets, bringing life into a dark day. Yet, as technology improves, these very neon signs that once lit up the streets of Hong Kong are switched to electronic alternatives. Thanks to an invite from the NGO Tetra Neon Exchange, the Oriental Watch Company was presented with the opportunity to conserve our historic neon sign that had resisted the hands of time since the 1980s at one of our oldest branches in Des Vouex Road Central. Although these signs may physically disappear, the cultural value that the sign carries can be carefully preserved, protecting this representative part of our culture to be introduced and shown to generations in the future and forever be remembered.
