[Take Your Time, Embarking on Life Together] - Children's Life Planning Workshop.

In July 2023, Oriental Watch Company and the HKCIN Charity Foundation are once again joining hands to organize a Children's Life Planning Workshop for 20-25 F4 to F5 students from underprivileged families at the Shek Lei Catholic Primary School. Most of these students and their parents may not yet have a clear understanding of career choices, or have a comprehensive understanding of their own abilities, personality, talents, and interests. As a result, they may not be able to formulate an ideal life plan, which could limit their future growth and development.

This activity will be divided into three stages: volunteer-guided training, workshops, and one-on-one follow-up meetings. In addition to guiding students to think about their future and plan for their own career paths, we also hope that through this workshop, participating volunteers will get to know themselves better and discover their own talents. This will not only help them in their personal lives, but also in their professional fields, enabling them to better cope with challenges and maximize their potential. We believe that in a one-hour game, we can learn more about a person than in a year of conversation. Through this, we hope to promote cooperation and communication among team members, as well as enhance mutual understanding and trust.

LEGO Serious Play 

What surprises can be brought out by six yellow and red building blocks? Through the serious process of playing with LEGO®, the team helped the children and volunteer colleagues break the ice and immerse themselves in the game. The students unleashed their unlimited creativity, creating different models of little ducks, and actively sharing their works. They thought deeply about the similarities and differences between their models and other little ducks, and realized that no two ducks were exactly the same. This not only inspired and cultivated their creativity, but also deepened their reflection on the differences in preferences, values, education levels, and other aspects between people, while also highlighting the uniqueness of each individual.

Child's Play: Game of Life

The volunteer colleagues led the young warriors into the world of "Child's Play" with fate gems (currency), life gems (health), and time gems. In this world full of opportunities and dreams, everyone can take control of their own destiny and future career choices. Each person's life is like a game, and as time passes, the choices we make and the skills we develop will shape different lives. Some people choose stability and comfort, while others choose challenges and adventures. Everyone's career trajectory and experiences will be very different. But no matter what choices we make, there will always be endless possibilities and opportunities to create the most wonderful life.

Writing Level-Up Strategy

Even though "Child's Play: Game of Life" may come to an end, the game of life will never stop. Regardless of whether the outcome of the game brings joy or surprises, we need to adjust ourselves and plan for the future. Through "Child's Play: Game of Life," the team hopes to help students gain a deeper understanding of their talents and potential, and to develop personal goals and a six-month action plan. Under the guidance of the team, students can use the 3F (Facts, Feelings, Findings) and MBTI 16 personality types analysis to reflect on themselves more deeply, find their strengths and weaknesses, and step by step achieve their goals, continuing their journey towards a hopeful and dream-filled future.
